Pittsburgh: Drying out with sunshine today<\/p>\n

Showers don’t stay away for long. Saturday is an Impact Day for afternoon showers.<\/p>\n

Showers still linger south of Pittsburgh. This activity will move up around sunrise with patchy fog forming. The rain won’t stay away for long. Scattered showers with locally heavy rain returns Saturday afternoon, prompting an Impact Day.<\/p>\n

Drying out with a gradual return to sunshine over the Flight 93 National Memorial.<\/p>\n

Showers exit with patchy fog forming this morning. Conditions will continue to improve throughout the day with the return of sunshine and easing humidity. Temperatures will peak near 80 degrees.<\/p>\n

Dry but muggy under the Friday night lights. Temperatures will be in the mid 70s by kick off this evening.<\/p>\n

Saturday is now an Impact Day with more showers set to arrive during the second half of the day. Some of this rain will line up with kick off of the Pitt game. Some of the rain could be heavy at times, especially south of Pittsburgh. Isolated rain totals could tick closer to an inch and may lead to flooding.<\/p>\n

Muggy conditions will linger for the first Steelers Sunday of the season. A shower could pop-up during the second half or on your ride home.<\/p>\n

More rain ahead for the middle of next week <\/p>\n

Summer conditions will swell through the middle of next week. More rain is on tap Wednesday and Thursday. Our first real taste of fall will follow ahead of next weekend.<\/p>\n
