OLD FORGE, Pa. \u2014 The 37th Felittese Festival kicks off Friday night in Old Forge. Volunteers have been preparing for months.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Felittese Festival celebrates Italian heritage with three days of live music and, of course, food. It is held by the Felittese Association of Old Forge.\u00a0<\/p>\n
A variety of homemade foods will be served, including porketta, tripe, pizza, and 2,200 pounds of gnocchi. There will be a special ice cream sundae for the event with olive oil and sea salt.\u00a0<\/p>\n
There will be a pizza-eating contest on Saturday night of the festival.\u00a0<\/p>\n
On Sunday, there is a procession from Prince of Peace Parish to the festival grounds at 11:30 a.m.<\/p>\n
