Of course, the play channels the writings of 19th century American poet Edgar Allan Poe. \u201cIt includes specific tales like Prince Prospero and The Red Death from \u2018The Masque of the Red Death,\u2019 the unnamed narrator and the old man from \u2018The Tell-Tale Heart,\u2019 the speaker and the raven from \u2018The Raven\u2019 and a painter and the Countess from \u2018The Oval Portrait,\u2019\u201d according to Theatrefolk, the Drama Teacher Resource Company.Sniezek\u2019s actors held a dress rehearsal Nov. 1 in the Orefield Middle School auditorium, 2675 Route 309, Orefield, allowing for a perfect opportunity to photograph the players in costume.
