{"id":284844,"date":"2026-09-13T02:56:36","date_gmt":"2026-09-13T02:56:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/284844\/"},"modified":"2026-09-13T02:56:36","modified_gmt":"2026-09-13T02:56:36","slug":"ntsb-to-investigate-after-ns-conductor-is-injured-in-pennsylvania","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/284844\/","title":{"rendered":"NTSB to investigate after NS conductor is injured in Pennsylvania"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><p>News report says incident involved fall from railcar<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>CONWAY, Pa. \u2014 The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating a Tuesday, Sept. 8, incident in which a Norfolk Southern conductor suffered severe injuries, the board said in <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/NTSB_Newsroom\/status\/2097668769497649428\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">a social media post<\/a> today (Wednesday, Sept. 9).<\/p>\n<p>The incident occurred just after 7 p.m. at the railroad\u2019s Conway Yard, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wtae.com\/article\/pennsylvania-person-struck-by-train-beaver-county\/73647343?fbclid=IwY2xjawUOk-ZwZG9mAWV4dG4DYWVtAjEwAGJyaWQRMTVQNTgxRWQ5NkFubDd1OXpzcnRjBmFwcF9pZBAyMjIwMzkxNzg4MjAwODkyAAEeEamrbQv5QWUmvFB15Q4d_fwTsoJ0_Cii0ZN6YAQhpz2dwrPwwg69CnDq2MY_aem_Pqdv3lOTeJFNkxNXKTzNZQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">according to WTAE-TV<\/a>, which also reports the conductor fell from a tank car while his train was moving into Conway\u2019s receiving yard.
