The Scranton\/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders stormed out to a six-run lead, but the Rochester Red Wings rallied for a 7-6 victory Saturday at ESL Ballpark.<\/p>\n
The RailRiders (38-28 second half, 75-65 overall) are now a game behind Rochester (40-28, 85-56) in the International League East second-half standings with seven games left.<\/p>\n
Marco Luciano got the RailRiders started with a solo home run in the top of the second. Then Max Schuemann\u2019s solo shot and Yanquiel Fern\u00e1ndez\u2019s two-run blast in the third gave the RailRiders a 4-0 lead.<\/p>\n
Tyler Hardman hit an RBI double, and Duke Ellis hit an RBI single for a 6-0 lead in the sixth. However, the Red Wings needed just the bottom half of the inning to tie the game.<\/p>\n
Cayden Wallace and Riley Adams hit RBI singles, and Trey Lipscomb scored on a wild pitch to cut the deficit to 6-3. Then, Liover Peguero\u2019s RBI single, and Sam Petersen\u2019s two-run single tied the game at 6.<\/p>\n
Adams hit the game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the seventh.<\/p>\n
