EASTON, Pa. \u2013 From music to pasta, pizza and so much more \u2014 the inaugural Festa Italiana made its mark Sunday in downtown Easton.<\/p>\n
Yiannis Kyziridis with Pat’s Pizza and Bistro was hard at work.<\/p>\n
“We got a good selection of pizzas, we have our signature Sophia Loren pasta, and we are introducing for the first time pork and chicken spiedini,\u201d Kyziridis said.<\/p>\n
“It’s wonderful to have an Italian fest, finally, after so many years in downtown Easton,” said Christina Crisci with Antonio’s Pizza and Restaurant.<\/p>\n

Crisci was serving up Antonio\u2019s famous limoncello cheesecake.<\/p>\n
That’s in addition to chicken parmigiana sandwiches and fried dough.<\/p>\n
“We’re excited. We have Garlic Fest and Bacon Fest. Why not a festival for Italians, too?\u201d said Cheyann Crisci. \u201cIt’s great. Everyone loves Italian food.\u201d<\/p>\n
Salvatore Mannino with Coopersburg-based Ecco Pasta made more than 200 pounds of pasta.<\/p>\n
“It’s good to get in front of the people,\u201d Mannino said. \u201cUsually, I’m in the back side of things for wholesale.\u201d<\/p>\n
All these great options were at the festival that Stephanie Altieri and Sette Luna owner Josh Palmer started.<\/p>\n
“We ran into each other at a restaurant in Allentown about nine months ago, and we had this idea to do it a couple of years ago,” Altieri said.<\/p>\n
