The award was presented by Terilynn Brechtel, UNC\u2019s chief operating officer, in recognition of Moran\u2019s 17 years of dedicated service through UNC\u2019s community education programs. A longtime Scranton Council for Literacy Advance volunteer, citizenship tutor and class leader, Moran has supported countless students as they build skills, confidence and pathways to U.S. citizenship.
