{"id":286057,"date":"2026-09-14T22:34:21","date_gmt":"2026-09-14T22:34:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/286057\/"},"modified":"2026-09-14T22:34:21","modified_gmt":"2026-09-14T22:34:21","slug":"stonecliffe-skate-park-redesign-full-steam-ahead-as-community-weighs-in-reading-area","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/286057\/","title":{"rendered":"Stonecliffe skate park redesign full steam ahead as community weighs in | Reading Area"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>READING, Pa. &#8211; Community members are giving their input on the new Stonecliffe skate park.<\/p>\n<p>County officials are holding a meeting to discuss the redesign and renovation of the space.<\/p>\n<p>The park was built in the early 2000s and has seen a lot of wear and tear.<\/p>\n<p>Officials say that caused some safety issues and forced them to close the park about two years ago.<\/p>\n<p>Now the project is full steam ahead.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We feel very strongly that the community wants this resource, is looking forward to having this available to them in the future, so it\u2019s something we really wanna offer and we think the community will enjoy this for years to come once we get it back online,\u201d says Daniel Roe, who works for Berks County Parks and Recreations.<\/p>\n<p>That meeting goes until 7:30 p.m.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"READING, Pa. &#8211; Community members are giving their input on the new Stonecliffe skate park.
