A report from WFMZ from 2025 states<\/a> that law enforcement responded to a welfare check after a caller said a nurse was behaving strangely and would not come out of a room for approximately two hours.<\/p>\nCourt documents reviewed by WFMZ reportedly indicate that an officer said he witnessed the incident and had found Robinson with her fingers in the victim’s mouth while saying there were “demons inside of the victim that needed to come out.”<\/p>\n
The documents further indicate that the victim, who was nonverbal and bedridden, appeared to be in distress, per WFMZ.<\/p>\n
A grand jury report reviewed by WCAU reportedly states that the victim’s elderly roommates tried for more than 30 minutes to alert staff at the facility and law enforcement to what was happening, with officers having to forcefully interrupt Robinson’s alleged assault.<\/p>\n
The suspect also allegedly resisted arrest, per WCAU’s report.<\/p>\n
Robinson was later admitted for psychiatric evaluation and faced criminal charges upon her release from a hospital, according to WCAU.<\/p>\n
Beyond the incident, the report from the grand jury also reportedly revealed the following conditions at the facility:<\/p>\n
Patients being assaulted by staff and by other patientsDeplorable sanitary conditions<\/p>\n
The report further states that residents had wandered away from the facility on several occasions and were located by law enforcement, WCAU reported.<\/p>\n
According to the outlet, Medicare reported three “inspection deficiencies” at the facility in 2023, followed by two in 2024 and 14 in 2025. The deficiencies documented in 2025 included cases in which residents allegedly did not receive prescribed medications or necessary medical care.<\/p>\n
