Philadelphia voters who want to cast a mail ballot in November can now get one in person at any of the city\u2019s 10 Satellite Election Offices, the City Commissioners<\/a> announced Monday.<\/p>\n The option gives voters who have not already applied for a mail ballot a way to apply for and complete their ballot in one visit. Once finished, voters can return the ballot using a secure drop box outside the office.<\/p>\n Ballots are being printed and mailed out this week for voters who have already applied to receive a ballot by mail.\u00a0 Election officials are encouraging those voters to watch their mail over the coming days.<\/p>\n \u201cOur job as City Commissioners is to make voting as simple, accessible, and transparent as possible,\u201d said Commissioners\u2019 Chairman Omar Sabir. \u201cGiven the potential for confusion<\/a> from recent news headlines about voting by mail<\/a>, it\u2019s important that all Philadelphians understand that it\u2019s still possible to vote by mail, and the process for doing so is now underway.\u201d<\/p>\n In addition to the County Board of Elections office in City Hall, Room 142, the Commissioners operate 10 Satellite Election Offices across the city, with one in each Council District.\u00a0<\/p>\n
