PENNSYLVANIA (WTAJ) \u2014 With the deadline for Pennsylvania Skill Games looming, one state representative is calling for a six-month extension.<\/p>\n
In a memo<\/a> circulated by Rep. Brad Roae (R-Crawford\/Erie), the legislation would extend the Oct. 13 deadline to April 13, 2027, providing lawmakers with additional time to legalize skill games, establish a tax rate and regulations, and determine how revenue would be allocated.<\/p>\n Roae argued that organizations such as volunteer fire company social clubs, Elks lodges and VFW posts depend on skill game revenue to provide services to their communities.
