Just choose \u201cEmergency Notification\u201d Link\u00a0in the announcement at the top of the page, or choose \u201cdiscover\u201d and search for \u201cEmergency Notification System Registration.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The University\u2019s emergency text alerts originate from 893-61 or 878-44. The email address for alerts is <a href=\"https:\/\/news.scranton.edu\/articles\/2026\/09\/mailto:alerts@scranton.edu\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">alerts@scranton.edu<\/a> and Phone alerts\u00a0will also display 570-941-5427.\u00a0Students, faculty and staff are asked to save these to their contacts in order to\u00a0identify future emergency notification alerts.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The University of Scranton will test its emergency notification system on Thursday, Sept. 17.
