Deadly crash between truck, car takes out pole, closes part of Route 8 in Butler County<\/p>\n

\"RaquelBRADY TOWNSHIP, Pa. \u2014<\/p>\n

A fatal crash involving a car and a box truck took out a pole and closed part of Route 8 in Butler County Tuesday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Sky 4, Pittsburgh’s only news chopper, was over the scene at William Flinn Highway and Duffy Road in Brady Township just before noon.<\/p>\n

Aerials from the scene showed the box truck on its side with what appears to be shredded paper along the road.<\/p>\n

Pennsylvania State Police said a car traveling west on Duffy Road did not stop at a stop sign and pulled out onto Route 8, where it was struck by the northbound truck.<\/p>\n

The driver of the car died, police said. She was identified as Helen D. Schubert, 98, of West Sunbury.<\/p>\n

Police said the driver of the truck had minor injuries.<\/p>\n
