One of Pittsburgh\u2019s most beloved Irish Pubs hopes to be back by St. Patrick\u2019s Day.<\/p>\n
Riley\u2019s Pour House in Carnegie, destroyed by fire in November 2024, will hold an official groundbreaking ceremony on Friday at its original site, 215 East Main Street.<\/p>\n
Owner Joe Riley tells KDKA Radio it had been a challenging two years, \u201cthat included extensive underwriting reviews and significant cost hurdles.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWe wouldn\u2019t be here without the support of Carnegie and the surrounding communities,\u201d the owners said. \u201cThis groundbreaking is a symbol of resilience and a promise that the Pour House will return stronger than ever \u2014 right where it belongs.\u201d<\/p>\n
Riley says the new Pour House will \u201chonor the spirit of the original pub while introducing updated features.\u201d<\/p>\n
