The Quakers last played a team outside the Division I ranks in 1995, defeating West Chester, 3-1. The matchup marked the second straight year the programs met, with Penn winning two of the three meetings.<\/p>\n<p>Penn vs. St. John&#8217;s Series<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n*Saturday&#8217;s matchup is the third all-time meeting between the two programs, with the Quakers looking for their first victory against the Red Storm.<\/p>\n<p>*Most recently, Penn fell to St. John&#8217;s, 2-1, at Rhodes Field in 2024. Despite the result, <a href=\"https:\/\/pennathletics.com\/sports\/womens-soccer\/roster\/hailey-adamsky\/25238\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"25238\" target=\"_blank\">Hailey Adamsky<\/a> scored the first goal of her career.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">*The Red Storm also won the first meeting between the programs, earning a 1-0 victory in Queens in 2023.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">&#13;<br \/>\nQuaker Notemeal<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n*The Quakers return to Rhodes Field following their most successful week of the season. Penn recorded back-to-back victories for the first time this season, defeating Saint Joseph&#8217;s, 4-0, Thursday before topping Towson, 1-0, Sunday to earn its first road win and first road goal of the season.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">*Last week&#8217;s victories produced a series of firsts for the Red and Blue. Freshman <a href=\"https:\/\/pennathletics.com\/sports\/womens-soccer\/roster\/camarin-choi\/26110\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"26110\" target=\"_blank\">Camarin Choi<\/a> scored the first goal of her career against Saint Joseph&#8217;s, while freshman <a href=\"https:\/\/pennathletics.com\/sports\/womens-soccer\/roster\/ria-desai\/26111\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"26111\" target=\"_blank\">Ria Desai<\/a> recorded her first career combined shutout alongside <a href=\"https:\/\/pennathletics.com\/sports\/womens-soccer\/roster\/megan-graves\/25246\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"25246\" target=\"_blank\">Megan Graves<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/pennathletics.com\/sports\/womens-soccer\/roster\/lily-white\/25256\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"25256\" target=\"_blank\">Lily White<\/a> also scored her first goal of the season against the Hawks, while Adamsky recorded her first point of the season with two assists. <a href=\"https:\/\/pennathletics.com\/sports\/womens-soccer\/roster\/magali-capdevila\/25240\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"25240\" target=\"_blank\">Magali Capdevila<\/a> then scored her first goal of the season against Towson.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">*Penn has featured a balanced attack this season, with six different players finding the back of the net. <a href=\"https:\/\/pennathletics.com\/sports\/womens-soccer\/roster\/casey-forman\/25264\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"25264\" target=\"_blank\">Casey Forman<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/pennathletics.com\/sports\/womens-soccer\/roster\/mia-fuss\/25245\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"25245\" target=\"_blank\">Mia Fuss<\/a> lead the team with two goals apiece, while Forman&#8217;s five points are a team high.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">*The Quakers&#8217; defense has been a strength throughout the season, with Penn allowing the second-lowest opponent scoring average in the Ivy League.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">*Graves has been strong between the pipes, ranking second in the conference in goals-against average while allowing the second-fewest goals among Ivy League goalkeepers.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">*Desai is one of three Ivy League freshmen to record a shutout this season, doing so as part of a combined effort with Graves against Saint Joseph&#8217;s.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">*Penn is unbeaten at Rhodes Field this season, going 2-0-1 while outscoring opponents, 7-1. The Quakers&#8217; season highs in goals, assists and shots on goal have all come at home.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">*The Quakers have committed the second-fewest fouls in the Ivy League this season, with 57, trailing only Harvard (53).<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">*Forman leads the team with 599 minutes played, playing all 90 minutes in every match except the season opener.<\/p>\n<p>Scouting the Rams<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n*Jefferson enters Thursday&#8217;s matchup with a 1-0-2 through just three games. The Rams opened the season with a 2-2 draw against Saint Anslem before recording a 1-0 win over Southern New Hampshire.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">*Most recently, Jefferson played Mercy to a scoreless draw.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">*The Rams have controlled play against their opponents, holding advantages in shots, shots on goal, goals and corner kicks.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">*Freshman Jalina Gonzalez and Jane DeVoll lead the way offensively as Jefferson&#8217;s only goal scorers.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">*Freshman Tessa Hughes is the only other Jefferson player with a point, recording an assist against Saint Anselm.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">*The Rams have not scored since their season opener against Saint Anselm, with their goal against Southern New Hampshire credited as an own goal.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">*Freshman Ava Brochon and junior Carly Hayman have split Jefferson&#8217;s three starts in goal. Brochon has started twice, recording two shutouts while stopping all 10 shots she has faced. After posting a clean sheet against Southern New Hampshire, the Bensalem native was named the CACC Rookie of the Week.<\/p>\n<p>Scouting the Red Storm<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n*Through seven matches, St. John&#8217;s owns a 3-3-1 record, including a 2-1 mark at home.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">*The Red Storm enter Saturday&#8217;s contest following a 1-0 victory over Central Connecticut. St. John&#8217;s dominated play, outshooting the Blue Devils, 17-4, while Leah Anand scored the game-winning goal in the 34th minute for the first goal of her career.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">*St. John&#8217;s has spread the wealth offensively, with the team&#8217;s seven goals coming from seven different players.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">*Four Red Storm players have recorded assists, with junior Snaefr\u00ed\u00f0ur Eva Eir\u00edksd\u00f3ttir and sophomore Sia Bharadwaj leading the way with two apiece.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">*The Johnnies have recorded shutouts in three of their last four matches, allowing just one goal during that stretch. St. John&#8217;s is tied for third in the BIG EAST with three shutouts.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">*The Red Storm have recorded multiple goals in just two matches this season, scoring twice against Towson and UMBC.
