The Bethlehem Christian Academy football team posted an impressive 41-22 victory last Friday defeating visiting Athens Academy 41-22 at Knights Field.<\/p>\n
According to Georgia High School Football Daily, BCA, a GIAA school that came in as a 22-point underdog, pulled off the upset and sent Athens Academy to its first 1-3 start since 1990, when the Spartans finished 2-8.<\/p>\n
The Knights, meanwhile, are 2-3 this year, including 2-2 against GHSA schools, beating Athens Academy and Towns County while falling to Social Circle and Eagle\u2019s Landing Christian.<\/p>\n
Reid Jackson had a monster performance with 353 yards on 16 carries and four scores. Brayson Crowe added 83 yards on eight carries for the Knights last Friday night.<\/p>\n
The tough early-season schedule was part of Coach Rod Robinson\u2019s plan to prepare his team for the upcoming region schedule.<\/p>\n
Cru Chonko had three catches for 42 yards in the win against the Spartans.<\/p>\n
