READING, PA. – Democratic congresswoman Chrissy Houlahan — who serves the Reading area — has introduced a bill to prevent armed federal agents from being deployed to polling places without congressional approval.<\/p>\n

The bill is called the “Protect Our Polls Act.”<\/p>\n

Houlahan says it comes after a senior military official refused to commit not to deploy troops to polling places.<\/p>\n
