UPMC Children\u2019s Hospital of Pittsburgh has been named to the U.S. News & World Report Best Children\u2019s Hospitals Honor Roll for 2026-27. The recognition places it among the nation\u2019s top 10 pediatric hospitals. <\/p>\n
UPMC Children\u2019s is now tied for the No. 1 rank in Pennsylvania and tied for No. 1 in the mid-Atlantic Region, and earned national rankings in all 11 pediatric specialties that are evaluated by U.S. News & World Report. <\/p>\n

The annual rankings recognize hospitals based on clinical outcomes, patient safety, infection prevention, nursing quality and other measures of excellence across pediatric specialties.<\/p>\n
UPMC Children\u2019s is nationally ranked in cancer; cardiology and heart surgery; diabetes and endocrinology; gastroenterology and GI surgery; neonatology; nephrology; neurology and neurosurgery; orthopedics; pediatric and adolescent behavioral health; pulmonology and lung surgery, and urology. <\/p>\n
Among its highest performing specialties, UPMC Children\u2019s ranked No. 3 nationally in diabetes and endocrinology, No. 4 in pulmonology and lung surgery, and No. 10 in nephrology.
