WILKES-BARRE \u2014 Northeast Pennsylvanian musician James Barrett will celebrate the release of his new record, \u201cNow That I\u2019ve Seen the Light,\u201d at the F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday, Nov. 28.<\/p>\n
University Drive and Purple Lung will also perform.<\/p>\n
A presale for Kirby Center members began Wednesday and sales to the public begin Friday at 10 a.m. Prices for the standing-room-only performance in Chandelier Hall begin at $20.<\/p>\n
The Clarks Summit musician performs widely and organizes the Good Things Are Happening Fest in Scranton. The album he will release on Oct. 16 combines the local indie punk scene and early 2000s adult contemporary and adult rock.<\/p>\n
