The Eagles were without a couple of their defensive stars at practice on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
Both Cooper DeJean (calf\/abdomen) and Jalen Carter (wrist) did not participate in the first practice of the week as the team gets ready to face the Titans on Sunday in Nashville.<\/p>\n
DeJean after practice said he expects to play in Tennessee: \u201cI\u2019m good. I\u2019ll be alright.\u201d<\/p>\n

Did not practice: DTJalen Carter (wrist), DB Cooper DeJean (calf\/abdomen)<\/p>\n
Limited: OLB Jonathan Greenard (pectoral)<\/p>\n
Reminder: The Eagles put LG Landon Dickerson (knee) on Injured Reserve on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
DeJean was on the sideline as a spectator \u2014 wearing a compression sleeve on his left leg \u2014 during the very brief window of practice open to reporters but Carter was not seen.<\/p>\n
Carter on Sunday had three pressures and a block on a PAT that proved to be crucial in the two-point win over the Commanders. We\u2019ll obviously monitor his status the rest of the week.<\/p>\n
In Week 1 against the Commanders, DeJean had a rough performance. He was targeted 8 times in coverage and gave up 6 catches for 75 yards and a touchdown, per NFL NextGen Stats. But DeJean did seem to get banged up in the second quarter tackling Stefon Diggs.<\/p>\n
Edge rusher Jonathan Greenard (pec) practiced on Wednesday again as a limited participant after being limited all of last week too. There\u2019s a chance Greenard could make his 2026 debut in Tennessee on Sunday. The Eagles traded for Greenard during the draft and then gave him a four-year, $98 million extension.<\/p>\n
As practice began, rookie TE Eli Stowers (quadriceps, hamstring), who is on Injured Reserve, was spotted heading back inside after doing some work on the field with a helmet. He must miss at least the next three games before he\u2019s eligible for a return.<\/p>\n
