\t\t\tOBITUARY\t\t<\/p>\n
Mary Ann Tucker, 97, of Old Forge, passed away Tuesday at Regional Hospital of Scranton. She was the widow of Walter M. Tucker Sr.<\/p>\n
\nBorn in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Mary Toporowich Lenko. She was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School and worked in maintenance at the Lackawanna County Courthouse.<\/p>\n
\nMary Ann was a devoted member of St. Vladimir Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, where she volunteered for many church fundraisers and enjoyed helping make pierogies for various church events.<\/p>\n
\nSurviving are her son, Kenneth J. Tucker and wife, Tricia, Old Forge; daughter-in-law, Sharmayne Tucker, Scranton; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n
\nAlong with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sons, Walter M. Tucker Jr. and Thomas Tucker; and three siblings.<\/p>\n
\nFamily and friends may pay their respects Friday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Divine Liturgy at 11 a.m. at St. Vladimir Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, 430 N. Seventh Ave., Scranton, to be celebrated by the Rev. Myron Myronyuk.<\/p>\n
\nInterment will follow in the parish cemetery.<\/p>\n
