{"id":288551,"date":"2026-09-18T00:34:08","date_gmt":"2026-09-18T00:34:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/288551\/"},"modified":"2026-09-18T00:34:08","modified_gmt":"2026-09-18T00:34:08","slug":"philadelphia-health-department-warns-of-possible-measles-exposure-at-chop","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/288551\/","title":{"rendered":"Philadelphia health department warns of possible measles exposure at CHOP"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao MvWXB TjIXL aGjvy ebVHC \">PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) &#8212; The Philadelphia Department of Public Health is warning patients and visitors about a possible <a class=\"zZygg UbGlr iFzkS qdXbA WCDhQ DbOXS tqUtK GpWVU iJYzE \" data-testid=\"prism-linkbase\" href=\"https:\/\/6abc.com\/tag\/measles\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">measles <\/a>exposure at Children&#8217;s Hospital of Philadelphia.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Health officials said the possible exposure occurred on Sept. 11 at several locations inside the hospital on the 3400 block of Civic Center Boulevard, including:<\/p>\n<p>CHOP NICU West: 9:30 am to 4:15 pmCHOP NICU West Family Lounge: 9:30 am to 4:15 pmCHOP Atrium: 9:30 am to 4:15 pmCHOP Main Cafeteria: 12:05 pm &#8211; 2:45 pm<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">The Philadelphia Department of Public Health is urging anyone who may have been present during those times to review their vaccination status and monitor for symptoms.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Measles is a highly contagious virus that spreads through the air when an infected person coughs, sneezes or talks.
