Tickets for Saturday’s show are still being sold for as low as $70.

The controversy began after the artist Macklemore was dropped as an opening act following comments he made on stage in support of Palestinians. The rapper says New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft organized a boycott against him.

Several other supporting artists and opening acts have since pulled out of the tour.

Some fans are also changing their plans, including Karen DeAngelis of Gloucester, Virginia, who is looking to sell her tickets.

“Honestly, I’m really disappointed in Ed Sheeran,” DeAngelis said.

DeAngelis said she had been planning her trip to Philadelphia for almost a year. She and her daughter planned to drive six hours from Virginia to attend the concert and spend the night, but she is no longer sure she wants to go.

“We’re not sure what we’re going to do because they were you know, for both about $500 so its quite a lot of money to spend,” DeAngelis said.

Ticketmaster says refunds or resales are generally only available if the event organizer approves them, with sales otherwise considered final.

Sheeran has publicly addressed the controversy, saying the decision to remove Macklemore was made by the promoter and not by him. Sheeran also says he does not use his professional platform for politics.

For DeAngelis, the issue is bigger than the music.

“Sometimes you think, ‘Should I separate and just enjoy the music from who the person is?’ And certainly sometimes you can’t do that because what they’re doing is so egregious that its just very different from how your morals are as a person,” DeAngelis said.

A protest involving pro-Palestinian groups is scheduled ahead of Saturday’s concert. NBC Philadelphia reached out to the group organizing the protest for comment but has not heard back.

SEPTA says it is aware of the scheduled protest. NBC Philadelphia also reached out to Lincoln Financial Field but has not heard back.

This story was originally reported for broadcast by NBC Philadelphia.
