told Fox 43.<\/a><\/p>\n\u201cI remember looking at our friend in the knee brace when I got caught off guard and ripped by my hair off the porch,\u201d she said. \u201cFrom then, I was dragged to the stop sign and that\u2019s when everyone jumped me. I was getting kicked by probably 12 people at the same time.\u201d<\/p>\n
The student said she was defenseless because she was trying to hold her tube top up with one of her arms as she was pummeled in the face.<\/p>\n
The one victim believes she blacked out at least twice during the assault, once when she was kicked in the ribs and another when she was struck in the head.<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t exactly remember how I got out of it, but I was encircled by probably 30 people by myself getting video recorded while getting punched and kicked from every angle,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Another student recalled seeing the mob descend onto them as they were on the porch, and described someone spraying mace over the property.<\/p>\n

Dozens of suspects pummeled one of the students as she lay on the ground while a separate group of assailants unleashed a barrage of punches at another girl outside the home. Fox43<\/p>\n
The students claim they made several calls to the police and were assured officers were en route before the violence erupted.<\/p>\n
At the time, York Police officers were responding to a SWAT situation involving a barricaded individual after reports of gunshots.<\/p>\n
Police officials said they requested assistance from other neighboring departments when they received reports of the off-campus brawl.<\/p>\n
\u201cAt approximately 1:49 am, York City Police were dispatched to the 300 block of W. Jackson St. for a fight involving a large gathering of individuals,\u201d the department said Wednesday. \u201cAt the time of this call, York City police officers were fully engaged in a previous, ongoing critical incident investigation. As a result, a York City police sergeant requested a mutual aid response from surrounding agencies, while a contingent of York City police officers responded to the fight.\u201d<\/p>\n
Hundreds of people had shown up to the area for an illegal street race when commotion drew the crowd to the students\u2019 location. Fox43<\/p>\n

No arrests were announced from the attack as most of the crowd had fled the scene when cops arrived.<\/p>\n
\u201cAt 1:52 am, York City police officers arrived on scene, and the large gathering of individuals quickly dispersed. York City police officers continued to monitor the area while a patrol officer met with the victims involved in the fight and gathered additional evidence,\u201d officials added.<\/p>\n
An investigation into the attack has been launched.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not just the girls who got assaulted; it is everybody on Jackson Street. We\u2019re not talking about five girls and possibly their roommates, we\u2019re talking about hundreds of students, so their response is completely ridiculous,\u201d the father told Fox 43.<\/p>\n

York College confirmed the off-campus incident occurred between college students and suspects not affiliated with the institution.<\/p>\n
\u201cAccording to York City Police, individuals not affiliated with the College initiated a physical altercation after being asked to leave the property by a student,\u201d college officials told the outlet.<\/p>\n
