There’s nothing like the sound of an Eagles chant and a booming “Go Birds” to get the excitement going for this week’s upcoming game.<\/p>\n
And, that’s exactly the sounds that reverberated off the walls of a terminal at the Philadelphia International Airport early Friday morning as Eagles fans gathered on their way to Nashville, Tennessee ahead of Sunday’s game against the Titans.<\/p>\n
“This is football season. This is Philadelphia Eagles. Now, we are are just taking a road trip to Tennessee to stomp a little mudhole in their backsides, that’s all,” said Paul Edwards from Quakertown shortly after buying his tickets south. “We are going to own that stadium. There’s no doubt about that!”<\/p>\n
Eddie Klein, of Bucks County, said he’s looking forward to spending some time in the pool and visiting Margaritaville ahead of Sunday’s game.<\/p>\n
“It’s going to be crazy,” he said with a grin. <\/p>\n
Several planes took off on Friday morning to carry loyal Birds fans to Tennessee. <\/p>\n
Already, on Thursday, more than 450 Eagles fans had made the migration south for this weekend’s game, according to TrueFan Travel<\/a>. <\/p>\n It’s not surprising that many fans are making the trip, the price for heading to Tennessee for the away game is comparable to seeing a game at Lincoln Financial Field.<\/p>\n On Friday morning, you could get your hands on tickets for the game at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium<\/a> for about $80. <\/p>\n And, a round trip flight, if you bought it Friday morning, from Philly to Nashville was about $200<\/a>.<\/p>\n Eagles fans are already on their way to Tennessee to take over Nashville \ufffc \u2014 John Clark (@JClarkNBCS) September 17, 2026<\/a> <\/p>\n For contrast, the cheapest tickets available to the Eagles’ next game at Lincoln Financial Field — Oct. 4, 2026, against the L.A. Rams — were being sold for about $290<\/a>. <\/p>\n The Eagles are favored in Sunday’s game after beating the Washington Commanders handedly last weekend, while the Titans got defeated by the New York Jets. <\/p>\n Along with so many fans, the team is headed to Nashville, Tennessee on Friday, as well. <\/p>\n They will need some time to get acclimated to the weather ahead of the upcoming game.
