Traffic was halted along SEPTA’s Wilmington\/Newark Regional Rail Line on Friday morning as crews address, what officials called, a “major medical emergency.”<\/p>\n

As of about 8 a.m. on Friday, NBC10’s SkyForce 10, over the scene, could seen crews working on the tracks near Darby Station while trains were halted. <\/p>\n

However, by about 9:19 a.m., officials said the incident was clear and trains were starting to resume travel along the line. <\/p>\n

Newark: The major medical emergency is clear. Outbound train #219 will be the first train outbound. It will extend service to Wilmington Station. Inbound train #9214 will originate from Wilmington Station.<\/p>\n

In a statement to NBC10, SEPTA said the medical emergency was because a person was struck and killed on the tracks. <\/p>\n
