Halloween Haunt.<\/a><\/p>\n\u201cOur team has been working nonstop to get it ready for Halloween,” said Kristen Bartholomew, the marketing manager at Dorney Park.<\/p>\n
Featuring five scare zones and six haunted mazes, including the new Blair Witch: No Signal, the park offers all things Halloween with a side of terror.<\/p>\n
\u201cI love honestly seeing people run terrified, screaming out of the mazes,” said Kimberly Solis, park manager.<\/p>\n
69 News reporter Sydney Kay got an inside look at what it takes to be a creature lurking through the park.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m going to make you a zombie,” said Tara Santa, the entertainment area manager at Dorney Park.<\/p>\n
She and her team prep hundreds of monsters every haunt.<\/p>\n
\u201cEvery 15 minutes, we\u2019re cycling people in and out of here, so this is controlled chaos… We make about 90% of our costumes that you\u2019ll see in the attractions,” she explained.<\/p>\n
For those not looking for a fright, there are plenty of family-fun activities and trick-or-treating to do, while staying safe.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf you\u2019re a little bit afraid of the scares, you can wear a \u2018No Boo\u2019 necklace that you can purchase in stores and throughout the park and then the monsters will be repelled by you,” said Solis.<\/p>\n
Paired with some horrifying gear, food, and drinks, it\u2019s the perfect package for guests looking to celebrate All Hallows Eve.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou never know what\u2019s lurking around in the dark, in the fog. You never know. If you like scares, it\u2019s great. If you don\u2019t like scares, it\u2019s also great,” said Bartholomew.<\/p>\n
