Cumulus Media has promoted Mike Sheffield, who serves as Programming Operations Manager in Erie, PA, to Program Director of classic rock \u201c97 Rock\u201d WGRF (96.3) in Buffalo and classic rock \u201cZ102.3\u201d WQHZ in Erie.<\/p>\n
Sheffield will continue programming three Erie stations \u2014 \u201cErie Country 97.9\u201d WXTA, AC \u201cClassy 100\u201d WXKC and \u201cThe Touch 104.3\u201d WXKC-HD2 FM \u2014 while adding programming responsibilities for WGRF and WQHZ. He succeeds Joe Russo, who exited the company in August.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Sheffield joined Cumulus in July 2006 after spending more than five years with iHeartMedia\/Clear Channel Communications.<\/p>\n
