Amid the continued success of \u2018Bethlehem Kudumba Unit\u2019, the production banner has announced its next Malayalam film, titled \u2018Picnic\u2019. The makers have also unveiled the film\u2019s release date, with the project set to arrive in theatres on January 14, 2027.Fahadh Faasil<\/a>, Dileesh Pothan<\/a> and Syam Pushkaran are producing the upcoming film. The upcoming film marks his first directorial venture. The poster unveiled by the makers on the announcement day features a family seated together, seemingly posing for a family photoshoot, offering a glimpse of the film\u2019s family-oriented setting.<\/p>\n

Sandeep Pradeep will headline the cast of \u2018Picnic\u2019. The actor was last seen in the psychological thriller \u2018Eko\u2019. The ensemble cast also includes Indrajith Sukumaran, Dileesh Pothan, Sujin Sreedharan, Akshatha Ajith, Reshma Jose, Mary, Vijay Muthu, Pranav Prabhu and Uthara Ganga.<\/p>\n

Govind Vasantha to compose music for \u2018Picnic\u2019<\/p>\n

The technical team of \u2018Picnic\u2019 includes several notable names from Malayalam cinema. Govind Vasantha has been roped in as the music composer, while Suhail Koya is writing the lyrics. Vivek Kalathil is handling production design, with Adarsh Sadanandan serving as the cinematographer. Sanath Sivaraj is the editor.<\/p>\n

The collection came from 935 shows, with the film recording an overall occupancy of 29 percent. The latest figure was marginally lower than the previous day\u2019s earnings. \u2018Bethlehem Kudumba Unit\u2019 had collected Rs 1.05 crore on Day 28, registering a 1.9 percent decline on Day 29.
