{"id":289527,"date":"2026-09-19T08:44:12","date_gmt":"2026-09-19T08:44:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/289527\/"},"modified":"2026-09-19T08:44:12","modified_gmt":"2026-09-19T08:44:12","slug":"pittsburgh-latino-community-center-buys-strip-district-building-for-youth-and-family-hub-wpxi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/289527\/","title":{"rendered":"Pittsburgh Latino Community Center buys Strip District building for youth and family hub \u2013 WPXI"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">PITTSBURGH \u2014 The Pittsburgh Latino Community Center announced it has finalized plans this week to relocate from its rented office space near Friendship to a headquarters it purchased in the Strip District. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">A spokesperson for the center said it could not provide a specific location in the Strip District due to safety concerns, but said the building that was purchased is on Smallman Street. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">\u201cToday\u2019s Latine youth will represent more than one in 11 Pittsburgh workers by 2050.
