CHICAGO (WLS) — Chicago police responded to an apparent shooting outside of a downtown nightclub early Saturday morning.<\/p>\n

Video from the scene captured a heavy police presence near North Clark and West Erie streets in the city’s River North neighborhood.<\/p>\n

ABC7 Chicago is now streaming 24\/7. Click here to watch<\/a><\/p>\n

Multiple ambulances were called to that area, but it was not immediately clear how many people were hospitalized.<\/p>\n

An ABC7 crew observed officers looking at shell casings that littered the street.<\/p>\n

What led up to the apparent gunfire was not immediately clear.<\/p>\n

Authorities did not immediately provide additional information.<\/p>\n
