From then, I was dragged to the stop sign and that&#8217;s when everyone jumped me. I was getting kicked by probably 12 people at the same time.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>During the altercation, the student &#8212; who gave the statement to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox43.com\/article\/news\/local\/the-cops-havent-done-anything-to-protect-us-says-york-college-student-after-recent-physical-altercation-people-crime\/521-5cde97d6-72f9-4cef-9491-c1241842ef85\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Fox43<\/a> on the condition of anonymity &#8212; said they blacked out twice, had her top pulled down, which made her &#8220;vulnerable,&#8221; and was punched and kicked mercilessly in the center of the 30-person crowd.<\/p>\n<p>                  <a class=\"js-click-image js-track-link image-lightbox-preview\" data-node-ref=\"tmz:image-asset:image_jpg_20260918_27471b2b34ff478187fa5e353b8460f8\" data-container-ref=\"tmz:article:ddc5f3cd-9325-4401-9989-72d45cce7d72\" data-context=\"{&quot;section&quot;:&quot;permalink&quot;,&quot;name&quot;:&quot;image&quot;}\"><\/p>\n<p>                          <img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/27471b2b34ff478187fa5e353b8460f8_md.jpg\" alt=\"York College of Pennsylvania getty 1\" width=\"728\" height=\"546\" class=\"img-fluid image-block__img-fluid img-aspect-auto\"\/><\/p>\n<p>                  <\/a><\/p>\n<p>They claimed the wild mob even used mace.<\/p>\n<p>As to why cops were delayed in arriving &#8230; York City Police say they were &#8220;engaged in a previous, ongoing critical incident investigation.&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The police added &#8230; &#8220;This investigation is ongoing as detectives gather and review additional evidence and conduct forthcoming victim\/witness interviews.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, York College said the incident &#8220;falls outside the jurisdiction of York College Campus.&#8221; Still, the college is working with local law enforcement and assisting with relocating any students living on the block.
