Apparently, many of the Pittsburgh Steelers players\u2019 wives, girlfriends and spouses are like the rest of Us \u2014 they don\u2019t know much about famed quarterback Aaron Rodgers<\/a>\u2019 new wife, either.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s like a phantom,\u201d one unidentified wife of Rodgers\u2019 teammates told The Daily Mail<\/a> in an interview published on Saturday, November 8.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe all want to meet her, to invite her out, get to know her,\u201d the woman, who the publication noted is \u201cpart of a social group of team wives and girlfriends,\u201d continued. \u201cBut we haven\u2019t met her yet. We don\u2019t even know who she is.\u201d<\/p>\n

After initially sparking marriage speculation when he was spotted wearing a ring on that finger on his left hand, Rodgers revealed during a June press conference that he got married to a woman, only publicly identified as Brittani, just \u201ca couple of months prior.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDidn\u2019t want that. Didn\u2019t like any of that,\u201d Rodgers said during a June appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, referring to the media attention the former Green Bay Packers quarterback often had on his romantic relationships. \u201cAnd now I\u2019m with somebody who\u2019s private, who doesn\u2019t want to be in the public eye. Didn\u2019t sign up to be a celebrity. Doesn\u2019t want to be a part of it. Because I do things in private because I want my personal life to be private, now I\u2019m weird.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cMy private life is my private life. It\u2019s gonna stay that way. I\u2019m with somebody who wants to be private. If and when she wants to be out and there\u2019s a picture, she\u2019ll choose that. She deserves a right to that.\u201d<\/p>\n

(Rodgers has previously dated many A-list celebrities, including Danica Patrick, Olivia Munn and Shailene Woodley.)<\/p>\n

While Rodgers has adamantly defended his privacy, he has on occasion discussed his new wife in public.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know, when you meet the right one and you\u2019re with the right one, your whole world changes in a second. And to have that person that unconditionally loves you behind the scenes \u2014 there\u2019s no better feeling in the world,\u201d Rodgers told NFL Network\u2019s Good Morning Football host Kyle Brandt in July.<\/p>\n

\u201cI got the most incredible wife,\u201d he continued. \u201cI just really love her and I\u2019m just so thankful to have her by my side in the end. When you have that stability and that rock behind you at the house, you feel like you can do anything.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tFootball fans weren\u2019t the only ones surprised by NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers\u2019 reveal that he is married. Apparently, New York Jets WAGs\u00a0didn\u2019t know, either. \u201cI didn\u2019t know of any partner,\u201d Jessie Vera-Tucker, wife of Jets guard Alijah Vera-Tucker, told People in a story published Tuesday, August 26, following the release of Prime Video\u2019s The Home [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n

In September, after securing a 34-32 win against his former team the New York Jets, Rodgers went so far as to publicly thank his better half for supporting him amid his new season with the Steelers.<\/p>\n

\u201c[I\u2019m] thanking my wife and my friends for encouraging me to take time with my decision,\u201d Rodgers said during a post-game press conference at the time. \u201cHappy to be a Steeler and happy the way things went today.\u201d<\/p>\n
