Scranton Police arrested Tyquan Fields, 33, following a Sept. 15, 2026, slashing on Jackson Street that left a man hospitalized with a neck wound.<\/p>\n

LACKAWANNA COUNTY, Pa. \u2014 A 33-year-old Scranton man is facing charges after police say he slashed another man’s neck with a knife during an altercation in the 1200 block of Jackson Street.<\/p>\n

According to Scranton police, officers responded to Geisinger Community Medical Center on September 15, 2026, for a report of a man with a laceration to his neck.<\/p>\n

The victim told officers he had been involved in a physical altercation with a man he knew as “Ty.” Investigators determined the two men knew each other and had agreed to meet over a dispute involving a woman.<\/p>\n

Police identified the suspect as Tyquan Fields after witnesses provided information about a vehicle associated with him.<\/p>\n

The department’s Major Crimes Unit conducted additional interviews and gathered evidence that allegedly identified Fields as the man who slashed the victim’s neck.<\/p>\n

The victim was released from the hospital the following day.<\/p>\n

Police say Fields turned himself in at Scranton Police Headquarters after an arrest warrant was obtained.<\/p>\n
