Three decades of Miss Vikings reunited to support their alma mater.<\/p>\n
TAYLOR, Pa. \u2014 Before a Friday night football game kicked off in Lackawanna County, a reunion brought together generations of students who shared the same title.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Riverside School District hosted a “Miss Viking Homecoming” during pregame at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Taylor.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Madyson Owens, the current Miss Viking, organized the historic meet-up.<\/p>\n
She brought 30 former Miss Vikings out onto the field, visually showing how the title passed through each generation.<\/p>\n
“It’s amazing, like it’s so community, like it’s so Riverside…to see them now and to be the same, it’s amazing,” says Madyson Owens, Riverside 2027 graduate.<\/p>\n
