The producers of the record-breaking Malayalam film \u2018Bethlehem Kudumba Unit\u2019 have announced a new movie titled \u2018Picnic\u2019. The production, led by Dileesh Pothan, Fahadh Faasil and Syam Pushkaran, will star Sandeep Pradeep in the lead role and is set for release on an as yet undisclosed date.<\/p>\n
Directed by debutant Kiran Josey, \u2018Picnic\u2019 features a supporting cast including Indrajith Sukumaran, Dileesh Pothan, Sujin Sreedharan, Akshatha Ajith, Reshma Jose, Mary, Vijay Muthu, Pranav Prabhu and Uthara Ganga. The soundtrack has been composed by Govind Vasantha.<\/p>\n

The announcement follows the historic success of \u2018Bethlehem Kudumba Unit\u2019, which became the highest-grossing Malayalam film of all time at the box office. Bhavana Studios highlighted this achievement on their Instagram account, referring to it as the highest-grossing film in Kerala.<\/p>\n
\u2018Bethlehem Kudumba Unit\u2019 starred Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju. It was co-written by Girish AD and Kiran Josey, with music composed by Vishnu Vijay.
