{"id":290335,"date":"2026-09-20T15:02:11","date_gmt":"2026-09-20T15:02:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/290335\/"},"modified":"2026-09-20T15:02:11","modified_gmt":"2026-09-20T15:02:11","slug":"see-what-its-all-about-pittsburgh-police-hold-expo-to-give-public-inside-look-at-operations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/290335\/","title":{"rendered":"\u2018See what it\u2019s all about\u2019: Pittsburgh Police hold expo to give public inside look at operations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">PITTSBURGH \u2014 The Pittsburgh Bureau of Police held an event designed to bring its officers and community members closer together. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">The Pittsburgh Police Expo was held at the headquarters on Western Avenue from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">The event acts as an \u201copen house\u201d and offers residents a chance to see what officers are doing and the resources they have available.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">The expo drew in people with an interest in a career in law enforcement and families looking to find something unique to do on the weekend.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">\u201cWe have a lot to offer, both our community and our prospective police officers.
