Delta Air Lines will begin operating a new daily flight between Philadelphia and Los Angeles next summer.<\/p>\n

The airline will debut the nonstop route between Philadelphia International Airport<\/a> (PHL) and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on June 7, officials said in an announcement<\/a> last week. Tickets are already available for purchase.<\/p>\n

The addition comes as Delta said it was also adding or increasing flights to LAX from several other destinations. Delta is PHL\u2019s third-largest carrier<\/a> by passenger volume, having carried nearly 2 million passengers through the airport in 2025. It currently offers nonstop service from PHL to five U.S. cities.<\/p>\n

PHL\u2019s largest carrier, American Airlines, also offers several daily nonstop flights to Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

The airport is in the midst of a nearly $2 billion renovation, having spent significant amounts<\/a> in recent years on upgrades to bathrooms<\/a>, landscaping, painting, and more.<\/p>\n
