{"id":290821,"date":"2026-09-21T13:34:09","date_gmt":"2026-09-21T13:34:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/290821\/"},"modified":"2026-09-21T13:34:09","modified_gmt":"2026-09-21T13:34:09","slug":"woman-stabbed-with-a-fork-during-fight-at-downtown-pittsburgh-hotel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/290821\/","title":{"rendered":"Woman stabbed with a fork during fight at Downtown Pittsburgh hotel"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A woman was stabbed with a fork during a fight at the Wyndham Grand hotel in Downtown Pittsburgh.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Pittsburgh Public Safety said that officers were called to the hotel near Point State Park just before 3 a.m. on Monday for a reported stabbing.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Public Safety said that the early investigation shows that two women got into an argument and that one of the women left the room, returning a short time later, forcibly re-entering the room.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>      <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/download.png#.webp\" alt=\"download.png \" height=\"349\" width=\"620\" class=\" lazyload\"  loading=\"lazy\"\/><\/p>\n<p>                  A woman was stabbed in the hand with a fork during a fight at the Wyndham Grand hotel in Downtown Pittsburgh early Monday morning.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>                KDKA Photojournalist Dan Vojtko<\/p>\n<p>The verbal argument then turned physical, according to Public Safety, and one woman stabbed the other in the hand with a fork.<\/p>\n<p>The victim was treated by medics at the scene and released, Public Safety said.<\/p>\n<p>Public Safety said the woman who stabbed the victim is facing charges.
