A second superload is set to travel through Western Pennsylvania. <\/p>\n
The superload will travel through Armstrong, Westmoreland, and Indiana counties before ending its journey at the new data center being built in Homer City. <\/p>\n
The first superload took two days to travel from Schenley Township to Homer City, with people lining the streets in several communities along the route to watch. <\/p>\n
PennDOT said the second superload is scheduled to leave at 9 a.m. <\/p>\n
There will be around 50 trips like this between now and January as crews transport parts to the work site.<\/p>\n
The Route of the Superload From PennDOT<\/p>\n
The second load will travel from Schenley to Route 66 through Leechburg and Apollo to Delmont then on to Route 22. <\/p>\n
It will continue to the Westmoreland\/Indiana County line on Route 22 towards Blairsville. <\/p>\n
It will then pull off at a staging area near Blairsville to install additional equipment to continue transport.<\/p>\n
The superload will start at 7 p.m. along Route 22\/119. Drivers west of the Indiana County line should use the detour route.<\/p>\n
As the superload travels along Route 22\/119 past Blairsville to its staging area along Route 119 drivers will be unable to pass the superload and can expect to travel at a very slow speed. <\/p>\n
All vehicles travelling on Route 22\/119 west of the Indiana County line will detour using Bairdstown Road\/West Market Street to East Market Street\/Old William Penn Highway to the Route 22\/119 interchange.<\/p>\n
