Apple pressing: Clifford Twp. Historical Society apple pressing at Yarns Cider Mill, Oct. 3 and 4, with pressing time at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. daily, 2520 State Route 2014. As part of the second annual Susquehanna County Heritage Trail event, CTHS will be pressing local apples by the truckload. The public is also invited to donate additional apples for pressing and should bring their own containers to take home the freshly pressed cider. Fully restored in 2023, the original 1898 Boomer & Boschert press and the Yarns Cider Mill will be open to the public for tours, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. each day. The event is free for all ages.<\/p>\n
