Boys cross country<\/p>\n
At McDade Park in Scranton, Riverside took places three through six to overcome the race-winning effort of Jacob Borrelli and defeat Mid Valley, 21-34, in a matchup of Lackawanna League boys cross cross country unbeatens Monday.<\/p>\n
Riverside also beat Scranton, 15-48, and West Scranton, 20-43, to improve its record to 9-0. Mid Valley and West Scranton each posted two wins.<\/p>\n
Borrelli edged West Scranton\u2019s Seamus Wallace at the finish line by .1 seconds. Andrew Connor, Jack Davies, Connor Moore and Marco Nardone \u2014 all from Riverside \u2014 were the next four runners to cross. Brady Higgins was the Vikings\u2019 fifth runner in eighth place to secure the three victories.<\/p>\n
