\t\t\tOBITUARY\t\t<\/p>\n
Jean Marie \u201cJeannie\u201d Walsh Franko, of Scranton, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, September 18, 2026.<\/p>\n
\nA 1976 graduate of West Scranton High School, Jeannie lived a life centered on faith, family and love. Her greatest joy was the time she spent with those she loved, and she will be deeply missed by her family and friends.<\/p>\n
\nShe was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Elsie Walsh, and brother, Gerald Walsh.<\/p>\n
\nSurviving are her siblings, Paul Walsh and wife, Shirley; Janet Butka and companion, Ali; Dave Walsh and wife, Karen; Debbie O\u2019Neil; Tim Walsh and wife, Laurie; Bill Walsh; Ron Walsh; and Gloria Healy and husband, John; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n
\nA viewing will be held Wednesday, Sept. 23, at 9 a.m. at St. Patrick\u2019s Church, Jackson Street, Scranton, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. celebrated by Rev. Richard E. Fox.<\/p>\n
\nArrangements are entrusted to Thomas J. Hughes Funeral Home.<\/p>\n
