UPPER SAUCON TWP., Pa. – Multiple people had their tires slashed Monday night in the Liberty Village community in Upper Saucon Township.<\/p>\n
“I wake up in the morning, get my car loaded up and get ready to go to work, and next thing you know it, my tire’s flat,” said Eric Veppustek.<\/p>\n
Veppustek quickly learned he wasn’t the only one. Up and down Bunker Hill Dr. S., cars were getting towed or getting new tires put on.<\/p>\n
“Since I have an all-wheel drive, whenever I have to do the one tire, I have to do the other one,” said Veppustek. “A good, healthy 300 bucks. Was not expecting that this morning.”<\/p>\n
“They’re expensive tires, and it’s just, I can’t believe people would just do this,” said Donald Kernechel, who also had his tire slashed.<\/p>\n
Kernechel and Veppustek talked with detectives from the Upper Saucon Township Police Department.<\/p>\n
“The police officer said there’s 14 reports,” said Kernechel.<\/p>\n
Kernechel hopes somebody saw something that can track down the criminal.<\/p>\n
“If somebody knows, or if somebody has a camera on their home that saw this, let the police know. So, we’ve got to get these guys, whoever they are,” said Kernechel.<\/p>\n
As for Veppustek, he’d just like to reinflate his bank account.<\/p>\n
“Would like to get paid back that 300 bucks I just spent to get my tire replaced. Would love that,” said Veppustek.<\/p>\n
