Cayden Greenwell, Will Deopere and the Bethlehem boys\u2019 soccer team completely dominated Shawnee in Sunday\u2019s All \u2018A\u2019 sectional game.<\/p>\n
Greenwell and Deopere each notched a hat trick as the Eagles rolled to a 7-0 victory over the Golden Eagles in the small-school state tournament\u2019s sectional round Sunday evening at Five Star Field.<\/p>\n
Deopere also added an assist for Bethlehem (4-5-1), which led just 2-0 at the half before erupting for five goals in the final 40 minutes.<\/p>\n
Abbott Masterson also scored for the Eagles, while Ethan Mullins, Conner Denton and Brody Mouser each had one assist.<\/p>\n
Goalkeeper Brady Matherly stopped all eight shots on goal he faced from Shawnee, recording his fourth shutout of the season.<\/p>\n
Bethlehem advanced to this weekend\u2019s All \u2018A\u2019 State Tournament at Louisville Collegiate. The Eagles will take on Owensboro Catholic at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the tournament quarterfinals.<\/p>\n
