\t\t\tOBITUARY\t\t<\/p>\n
Patricia A. Gaetano, 76, of Blakely died Monday morning at The Gardens at Green Ridge in Scranton.<\/p>\n
\nBorn in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late William and Rosalina (Marx) Burns. Patricia was a graduate of South Scranton Central Catholic High School and was employed in Medical Billing prior to her retirement.<\/p>\n
\nPatricia loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a skilled crocheter and made numerous blankets for Saint Joseph Center. She was an avid reader and an excellent baker; she would even take special requests for sweet treats. Patricia was very proud to serve as a Eucharistic minister for many years. The family would like to thank the staff of The Gardens of Green Ridge and Allied hospice for their compassion and care during Patricia\u2018s illness.<\/p>\n
\nAlso surviving are her children; Leonard P. Gaetano and wife Jacqueline, Ransom Twp. and Sue Ann Karlavige and husband Joseph, Peckville; her grandchildren, Bryn and Timothy Karlavige; her former husband, Leonard S. Gaetano, and companion Carole Mcandrew; her siblings, William Burns and wife Arlene, Theresa Grzyboski, Rosemarie Pivovarnik and husband Paul, Martin Burns and companion Alison, Anthony Burns, and Eugene Burns and wife Jennifer; several nieces, nephews and cousins.<\/p>\n
\nShe was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Joseph Grzyboski.<\/p>\n
\nThe funeral will be on Friday with mass of Christian burial at Christ the King Parish, Archbald at 10 am. Entombment will follow at Cathedral Cemetery. Viewing hours will be held on Thursday from 4 to 6pm at James M. Margotta Funeral Home, 1019 Main St. Peckville.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Patricia A.
