READING, Pa. – Reading will light its City Hall red for the next week in honor of the Reading Fightin Phils winning the Eastern League Championship.<\/p>\n
The Fightin Phils brought the title home to Reading for the first time since 1995, the city said in a news release.<\/p>\n
\u201cCongratulations to the Reading Fightin Phils on winning the Eastern League Championship,\u201d said Mayor Eddie Mor\u00e1n.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s a great accomplishment for the team and a great moment for our city. We\u2019re already talking about how we can celebrate this with the community. It\u2019s still early, but we\u2019re looking at some ideas and will share more once we have something in place. For now, we\u2019re lighting up City Hall red and celebrating our champions.\u201d<\/p>\n
