{"id":292739,"date":"2026-09-24T04:06:10","date_gmt":"2026-09-24T04:06:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/292739\/"},"modified":"2026-09-24T04:06:10","modified_gmt":"2026-09-24T04:06:10","slug":"jefferson-health-ceo-to-lead-philadelphia-area-chamber-of-commerce-business-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/292739\/","title":{"rendered":"Jefferson Health CEO to lead Philadelphia area chamber of commerce | Business News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PHILADELPHIA, Pa.- The head of Jefferson Health, the parent company of Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN), has been tapped to serve as Board Chair of the\u00a0Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia.<\/p>\n<p>Joseph Cacchione is the first doctor and first CEO of a major health system in the role, the Chamber said.<\/p>\n<p>Cacchione will take over on October 15,\u00a0succeeding Christopher Franklin, the chairman and CEO of Essential Utilities.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;His leadership comes at an important time as the Chamber works to improve the region\u2019s competitiveness, drive economic growth, expand opportunity for residents, and position Greater Philadelphia as a top global destination for business,&#8221; the Chamber said in a news release.<\/p>\n<p>Cacchione joined\u00a0the Chamber\u2019s board of directors in 2022. He has served as CEO of Jefferson Health since 2022.<\/p>\n<p>The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia serves 11 counties across three states.
