According to Trooper Lauren Lesher, community service and public information officer, &#8220;We&#8217;re here to celebrate the special needs community and allow them to have a one-on-one interaction with law enforcement and first responders and different agencies throughout the troop.&#8221; Interest in the day camp has gone up each year, she said. &#8220;The first year that we had this, we had 50 applicants, and this year we had 190.
