Public Financial Management, or PFM, the consulting firm working with the City of Erie to overcome a $12 million budget deficit, will be back in town tomorrow to make its next recommendations.<\/p>\n
And the public is invited to sit in on a study session at 5:30 p.m. tomorrow in City Council chambers.<\/p>\n
We’ve reported that Mayor Daria Devlin’s administration already cut $3 million in spending for this year, eliminating six positions and asking each department to reduce costs.<\/p>\n
Now that PFM has audited every city department, they’ll share their recommendations for how Erie can solve its long-term financial challenges.<\/p>\n
